About us
The VERE is as an organised combined alliance of manufacturers and quasi manufacturers* of electrical and electronic devices in the economic area of the Republic of Germany.
The registered office and main office of take-e-way are based in Hamburg.
The purpose of take-e-way is to create a community where all producers and owner responsibilities for electrical and electronic devices can be transacted according to the electrical and electronic device laws (ElektroG) and according to KrW/AbfG.
Through becoming a member, there is either a duty of payment for the manufacturer or an agreement of future disposal means over take-e-way.
To be able to fulfil the extensive requirements of the ElektroG, take-e-way offers a palette of services to assist the manufacturers and quasi manufacturers as far as possible.
* Dealers, who directly import electric and electrical devices or who bring them as first onto the market
