With the publication of the Federal Law Gazette dated May 8th, 2013 the ordinance on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (ElektroStoffV) was announced. It came into force on May 9th, 2013.

take-e-way and VERE learned from some manufacturers that the Foundation EAR is planning to remove the LEDs from the collection group 4 (gas discharge lamps) and to assign them to the collection group 5 (small household appliances) this year.

ElektroStoffV: take-e-way is developing a service package in order to be able to perform as much tasks on your behalf acting as a representative as possible.

The donation amounts to 1,400.00 Euros and is originated from the prize money of the second rank of the 15th SIGNAL IDUNA environmental and health award.
