On 17th September 2021, take-e-way informed you about the sorting information guidelines for packaging elements in France. The general deadline for implementing the labeling, which concerns the packaging elements, remains 9th September 2022. However, the deadline for implementing the labelling on all packaging produced or imported before 9th September 2022 has been extended from 9th March 2023 to 15th June 2023 for producers serving one additonal waste stream (WEEE or batteries). For producers only serving the packaging waste stream the deadline will be 9th March 2023 regarding packaging produced or imported before 9th September 2022.
We have adjusted our information regarding the labelling obligation for WEEE, lamps, batteries and PV modules as well as the information regarding the final approval of the harmonised sorting information guidelines accordingly.
