The obligation to appoint an Authorised Representative applies to all producers who do not have a branch in France. If you operate outside of France, sell batteries in the French market, and have not yet contracted with an Authorised Representative, you are currently not in compliance with French law. This may result in your battery registration being denied or revoked.
take-e-way keeps you compliant. Always.
Through our sister company get-e-right France, we have long offered Authorised Representative services for producers of electrical equipment in France. We are delighted that our portfolio is constantly growing and that we now also act as an Authorised Representative for battery producers in France.
Why choose get-e-right France?
You get full service from a single source. We provide thorough assistance, so you always fulfil your Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) duties, as well as all relevant legal requirements. Our experience and technical expertise enable us to design processes that are efficient and legally compliant, even in complex or bespoke situations.
We keep up with all relevant legal standards, such as the new EU battery regulation, making sure they are properly reflected in your reports. We support you through inspections and audits, ensuring that the quantities reported in France are thoroughly evaluated for accuracy and plausibility. We intend to extend this service to include packaging and textiles. If France introduces a requirement for an Authorised Representative for these or any other waste streams, we are prepared to support you with this as well.
