Instead of September as previously planned, the vote is now scheduled to take place in the fourth week of October according to the current status.

The environmental organisation Deutsche Umwelthilfe announces that it will use all legal means to punish violations of the obligation to take back waste electrical appliances.

These must be registered in Germany in accordance with the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (WEEE), the Batteries Act and the Packaging Act, and the costs for future recycling must be factored in when such power plants are placed on the market.
