EPR service for textiles in Hungary

Refers to the manufacturer who produces the products in a factory based in Hungary. If you are a manufacturer in Hungary, you are obliged to register.

If your company is based in Hungary and you import products into Hungary from abroad, you are required to register.

If you are based in Hungary and purchase products from a Hungarian producer and sell them in Hungary, you do not have the obligation to register. Your producer should register.

If you are a foreign manufacturer who produces products in a factory outside of Hungary, then you are not affected. However, if you also sell to Hungary, please find more information in the next box.

If you sell products to Hungarian companies or shops, you are not obliged to register. It is not possible to take over the obligations of your distributors in Hungary.

If you sell products from abroad directly to end consumers in Hungary, you are obliged to register. In order to register, you are required to appoint an Authorised Representative in Hungary.
