Italy, Sweden and the Czech Republic: Industrial and Automotive Batteries

Italy: In compliance with the provisions of Legislative decree 188/08 and in accordance with the latest information from the National Coordination Centre for Batteries and Accumulators, the classification of industrial and automotive batteries has undergone a change in subdivision within codes 2.3 and 3.3. In the Czech Republic, the take-back system for batteries established there has now also included industrial and automotive batteries as new reporting categories. In Sweden, automotive batteries are also subject to registration and can from now on be reported via our partner.

Then we would like to inform you that, in compliance with the provisions of Legislative decree 188/08 and in accordance with the latest information from the National Coordination Centre for Batteries and Accumulators, the classification of industrial and automotive batteries has undergone a change in subdivision within codes 2.3 and 3.3. "Other". However, this does not affect the environmental contribution you have to make or your registration with the National Battery Register in Italy.

In the Czech Republic, the take-back system for batteries established there has now also included industrial and automotive batteries as new reporting categories in the course of the entry into force of the Act on End-of-Life Products No. 542/2020 on 1 January 2021.

In Sweden, automotive batteries are also subject to registration and can from now on be reported via our partner.
