New registration obligation for packaging in Spain

The Spanish packaging law obliges producers to register their packaging. Distributors from abroad must also register through an authorised representative if they sell packaged products in Spain.

When will e-scooters fall under the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG)?

E-scooters mostly fall under the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG). The decisive factor is that the e-scooter has no seat or is a two-wheeler. Scooters with a seat or a different number of wheels do not fall under the ElektroG. Further information in this regard is available on the EAR website.
